Introduction

Founded in Berlin in 2003, the first MYKITA premises were settled in a former children’s day care, called ‘Kita’. This inspired not only the name My Kita, but also an ingrained culture of curiosity and play.

Celebrating culture in their craft and their people is what drives the joy for experimentation and commitment to quality in each of MYKITA’s designs.​ The guiding principle for design rests in making technical and functional solutions aesthetical. Pioneering several innovative solutions to the many pain points in traditional eyewear designs has subsequently become the hallmark of MYKITA’s presence and reign within the optical industry.
